La Jolla, Tokyo, Japan

Food: Mexican. If you like good food, especially, Mexican, this is the place to eat at! They have loads of choices and best of all, regardless of what your order, you’ll just fall in love with the place. P.S. They have a vegetarian menu too!

Ambience: This place isn’t huge, it’s not tiny either, it’s just okay. Perhaps, it feels smaller because every time we’ve gone there, it’s been packed! In terms of the look, it’s simply nice.

Cost: It’s reasonable for the taste and the quantity you get!

Note: A great place to enjoy with friends and family. First time, we went with friends and we were spoilt with choice. Second time, I took my parents when they were visiting us, and they loved it too! Don’t forget to make a reservation!

Zakuro, Tokyo, Japan

Having lived in Tokyo for about a year, we got to discover some delicious vegetarian places. Here are the ones I still miss.

Food: Iranian, Persian, Turkish and Uzbekistan style food (in other words, Parsi, so very similar to Indian food). They do speak English and understand the idea of vegetarian and they'll go out of the way to make you feel at home.

Ambience: Spacious, several room, all have carpet laid out, hookahs placed around, and wooden slabs put around. You set on the carpets.. you know cross leg types, and they sevre on the wood. It's nice!

Cost: Very reasonable, we went for lunch, took the course they had, it was 1000 yen for all you can eat.. rather as they call it, you'll not be able to finish the food they have serve, the quantity is so much and the variety too.

Note: It's a really nice place to go with a group of friends, chill out and enjoy. Belly dancing on Wednesdays and Friday evenings. Also, you can have flavoured hookahs. Interesting place. Preferable make a reservation!
