Zakuro, Tokyo, Japan

Having lived in Tokyo for about a year, we got to discover some delicious vegetarian places. Here are the ones I still miss.

Food: Iranian, Persian, Turkish and Uzbekistan style food (in other words, Parsi, so very similar to Indian food). They do speak English and understand the idea of vegetarian and they'll go out of the way to make you feel at home.

Ambience: Spacious, several room, all have carpet laid out, hookahs placed around, and wooden slabs put around. You set on the carpets.. you know cross leg types, and they sevre on the wood. It's nice!

Cost: Very reasonable, we went for lunch, took the course they had, it was 1000 yen for all you can eat.. rather as they call it, you'll not be able to finish the food they have serve, the quantity is so much and the variety too.

Note: It's a really nice place to go with a group of friends, chill out and enjoy. Belly dancing on Wednesdays and Friday evenings. Also, you can have flavoured hookahs. Interesting place. Preferable make a reservation!
